Professional LiPo UAV batteries engineered for direct airframe integration. Available in 6S and 8S configurations from 11000mAh to 22000mAh nominal capacity.
The ampKRAFT PS3 Series covers the full range of professional soft pack drone battery requirements in a single, consistent cell family. All packs share the same 74mm cell width and 3.6V nominal cell voltage, making it straightforward to select the right capacity and voltage configuration for each platform without changing the integration architecture.
Available in 6S (21.6V) and 8S (28.8V) configurations, the PS3 Series supports everything from compact light-payload UAVs to heavy-lift industrial platforms. Capacities range from 10,600mAh to 21,200mAh nominal in single-string configurations, with a 6S2P option delivering 21,200mAh at doubled current capability for demanding high-draw applications.

Selecting the right battery for a drone is rarely just a capacity decision. For UAV engineers and procurement teams working on professional platforms, the key variables are continuous discharge current, pack dimensions, weight, operating temperature range, and connector compatibility. The PS3 Series addresses all of these parameters within a single, well-documented cell family.
All ampKRAFT PS3 soft pack drone batteries use LiPo pouch cell construction. Unlike cylindrical cell packs, the soft pack format eliminates the rigid metal casing, reducing dead weight and allowing the pack to conform to the available space within the airframe. Heat dissipates across a larger cell surface area, and the flat geometry keeps the center of gravity low and predictable.
Continuous discharge current ranges from 88A in the entry-level 6S1P 11000mAh pack to 130A across the mid and high-capacity variants, with burst capability of up to 180A across the full range. The 8S configurations step up the voltage to 28.8V, delivering up to 5,184W burst power from the same cell format for high-voltage drive systems.
Every PS3 pack is manufactured under a fully vertically integrated production process, with ampKRAFT’s proprietary intellectual property covering cell chemistry, materials, and quality control. Each batch is fully traceable, and connector types can be customized for specific platform requirements.

Higher energy-to-weight ratio
Soft pack pouch cells eliminate the rigid metal casing of cylindrical formats, reducing dead weight without sacrificing capacity. For UAV platforms where every gram of battery weight directly affects payload or endurance, this matters.
Better thermal management
Heat dissipates across the full flat cell surface rather than concentrating within a cylinder. Under high-current draw, this means more stable cell temperatures and a flatter discharge curve throughout the mission.
Airframe-friendly dimensions
The consistent 74mm cell width across the PS3 Series simplifies pack selection across multiple platform sizes. Both the 125mm and 170mm cell formats use the same width, keeping integration changes minimal when stepping up in capacity.
Traceable, consistent quality
Every PS3 pack is manufactured under ampKRAFT’s proprietary vertically integrated process. Each production batch is fully traceable, and cell matching is controlled at the source.

Everything you need to know about selecting and integrating PS3 Series LiPo drone batteries. If your question is not covered here, our engineering team is happy to help directly.
A soft pack drone battery, also called a LiPo pouch cell pack, uses a laminated foil enclosure instead of a rigid metal casing. This makes the pack lighter and allows heat to dissipate across the full cell surface during high-current discharge. For professional UAV platforms, the soft pack format delivers a better energy-to-weight ratio than cylindrical cell packs, supports higher discharge rates, and can be dimensioned to fit the available space within an airframe. The ampKRAFT PS3 Series uses this construction across all variants, with a consistent 74mm cell width that simplifies integration across multiple platform sizes.
Start with your platform’s voltage architecture: 6S (21.6V nominal) or 8S (28.8V nominal). Then match the continuous discharge current requirement to the pack specification. For platforms requiring up to 88A, the FBC7871125PS3 6S1P covers the entry range. For 120A, the FBC10671125PS3 6S1P is the right fit. For 130A continuous across a wider capacity range, the FBC11671125PS3, FBC10171170PS3, and FBC11071170PS3 all deliver that current level. If you need 130A at doubled capacity, the FBC7871125PS3 6S2P parallel configuration achieves that at 21,200mAh nominal. For high-voltage platforms requiring more power output from the same current level, the 8S variants deliver up to 3,744W continuous and 5,184W burst. Our engineering team is available to support cell selection based on your specific mission profile and airframe constraints.
6S and 8S refer to the number of lithium cells connected in series. A 6S pack has six cells in series at 3.6V nominal per cell, giving a pack voltage of 21.6V. An 8S pack has eight cells, giving 28.8V nominal. Higher voltage means the same power can be delivered at lower current, which reduces resistive losses in the ESCs and wiring and generates less heat in the drivetrain at sustained high power levels. For the same 130A continuous discharge current, an 8S pack delivers 3,744W versus 2,808W from a 6S pack. The 8S configuration requires an 8S-capable charger and uses a JST-XHP-9P balance connector instead of the 7P used on 6S packs.
The PS3 Series uses QS8-S (QS8P-L-F / AWG 3239 8#) as the primary discharge connector across most variants, with the exception of the FBC7871125PS3 6S1P which uses an XT90 connector. Balance connectors are JST-XHP-7P Reversed on all 6S configurations and JST-XHP-9P Reversed on all 8S configurations. If your platform requires a different connector standard, ampKRAFT can supply alternative configurations on request.
Yes. All PS3 Series packs are rated for discharge between -20°C and +60°C, covering the majority of professional field conditions including cold-climate inspection, high-altitude surveillance, and agricultural operations in varying seasonal conditions. No pre-heating is required within the specified discharge range. Charging should take place between 0°C and +45°C, with temperature-dependent charge rates from 0.2C at low temperatures up to 1C between 20°C and 35°C.
